Runaway boy cycled 600 miles
A Dutch teenager who ran away from home and headed to China has finally been caught in Poland.
Cops have been searching for 16 year old Collin Baker since he set out by bike from his home in Holland six days ago.
He had pedalled some 600m from his home into Germany and across Poland with only a book, a map, some crisps and a bottle of mineral water. Residents in Przemkow in south west Poland phoned the local police after finding a boy who 'looked lost', and spoke no Polish at a bus stop. Collin told the police he had left home for China because he did not like his mother's new husband.
He had only £6 with him but was still determined to get to China by bike.

Birthday girl's lucky escape
A Belarus woman survived being run over by a 90mph train after she fell asleep between the tracks after celebrating her 32nd birthday.
"I'd had a few drinks and felt sleepy and just lay down on what I thought was the ground. It felt very comfortable, but I later found out it was between two rail tracks and an express train went over me during the night. I didn't even hear it. The doctors said it was a good job I was so hard asleep because otherwise I would have woken up with the sound of the train and got my head knocked off."
Emergency services were called by people who saw the train travel over her in Brest in the south west of Belarus and were convinced she was dead.

Grannies handbag full of grenades
Police officers and criminals were evacuated from a Russian police station after a granny walked in with a handbag filled with hand grenades.
The 67 year old walked into the station wanting to take advantage of an arms amnesty, wanting to get rid of some old weapons that her late husband had kept under their bed. "I read they were disposing of old weapons so I bought them in on the bus in my handbag. I was sorry to have caused such a fuss.”
After the building was cleared bomb squad experts were called in to remove the grenades saying "These were fragmentation grenades with faulty pins, which explode into hundreds of fragments and inflict serious injuries to people up to 50 feet away. Anyone within ten feet will be killed if they go off."
